Our visual artist Steve Lawes spent much of summer 2019 over at Young Carers, working with the young people there to beautify their outdoor area. The group painted some donated pallet boxes and turned them into a table, chairs and storage spaces, as well as creating a mural!

Green Shoes have also run various creative workshops with Young Carers, including a drawing workshop facilitated by Jess Burnett and a poetry writing workshop by nationally acclaimed poet Sadie Davidson (Jan 2019).
